A discussion about passwords on FB led me to this about Android Lock Patterns. I am an Android user, and a die hard one at that, but the stupid aspect of lock patterns is that the finger prints/trails always give it away, combined with the fact that people draw simple patterns. Also, follow the advice about saving your passwords in creatively named folders. (Applies to all sensitive, cough cough, material too.)
What can you do to make your phone less crackable? Simple. Stop drawing letters. Turn off the “make pattern visible” option in your Android settings. Use crossovers. Use more than four nodes — they’re giving you nine, people, nine. And please, for the love of God, don’t save your ALP in a folder named “ALP” on your computer.
